Nevada Jr. Teen Volunteers at Annual Toy Drive

Every December Las Vegas radio station 98.5 KLUC puts on an extensive Toy Drive and this year Nevada Jr. Teen, Kailyn Domingo, volunteered 2 days during the event. She helped collect toys, count what had been donated, and even got the honor of changing the overall totals. During this year's event, the Toy Drive filled 29 trucks with 5,146 bikes and $323,092 in money and gift cards for families in need. Thanks Kailyn for being a part of making Christmas meaningful for so many children in the Southern Nevada area!

Missouri Open Calls start this weekend! There are some girls out there that are worried they can't win since they don't have any experience. It's time you meet Erris Pierson. Erris had never competed in National American Miss before attending an Open Call in Kansas City, MO. After attending the Open Call, Erris decided to compete in the 2014 Missouri pageant, where she placed 3rd Runner-Up to the Pre-Teen title. This qualified her for the Nationals and she gladly accepted the challenge. She attended and took home the All-American Pre-Teen title! Great job Erris!!!

It's time to leave the desert and head back to the mid-west for the Minnesota Open Calls! There are some people who compete for a few years and get discouraged when they don't win. However, just like it didn't stop Danielle Fisher, it also didn't stop Elizabeth Saby. Elizabeth started competing in National American Miss as a Princess in 2005. She always did well in optionals, but didn't place in Top 5 until 2013. Then, Elizabeth came back this year and not only walked away with the Minnesota Jr. Teen title, but also the National American Miss Jr. Teen title!!! Elizabeth always stayed positive and worked hard, which ultimately paid off. Congrats Elizabeth!

Utah Jr. Pre-Teen Models in Local Fashion Show

Utah Jr. Pre-Teen, Miah Green, was asked to participate in the Warm Up to Foster Care Fashion Show on November 13th produced by Weber State University Fashion Class and Miss Weber County 2015, Lexie Larsen. The Weber State Football and Basketball teams, WSU Fashion majors, Lexie Larsen, and Miah were all models for the show. They collected over 30 Minky Couture hat and scarf sets, 40 Fox winter coats, and other winter apparel, all of which were donated to The Christmas Box House in Ogden, UT. The fashion show could not have been a success without many local business sponsors.
