Help support Miss Amazing

We are so proud of our National American Miss girls, every year we get the opportunity to award thousands of trophies to very deserving young women! Those of you who have been so outstanding over the past years probably have a ton of trophies that you hardly have room to display them all! Miss Amazing is a program that was started by one of our own National American Miss former queens, Jordan Somer. Through this program they give girls with disabilities across the country an opportunity to compete in a pageant. And you can help!

Miss Amazing would like to award trophies to their competitors just like YOU earned them. If you would like to donate your trophies to Miss Amazing, contact your closest director. Those of you near Illinois or Nebraska, contact  kimberlysomer@missamazingpageant.com  they are specifically looking for trophy donations. Introducing the talented Miah Green!!

Miah Green is the Utah Cover Girl and an avid cheerleader! She used her talents to compete in the optional talent competition at the Utah pageant last year and placed 1st runner up! Along with that honor, she was selected as Miss Personality 1st runner up, Most Promising Model 1st runner up, Best Resume winner, Photogenic 1st runner up, Casual Wear 1st runner up, and 4th runner up over all!! This girl definitely has big things in store for her!

Miah has been a competitive all star cheerleader since she was 4 years old and has been a flyer primarily, but has based the first year.  Miah has been involved in Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz and Gymnastics and those have all helped her with her ability to cheer.  Her goal is to be an Olympic Cheerleader!

On Feb. 8th her team, Rah! All Star Elite-Black Attack, Youth Level 2, won division champions for the 2nd year in a row.  They performed at the Thomas & Mack Center at UNLV in Las Vegas at the Nevada Open.  The entire gym took four Division Champions, a 2nd place and a Grand Championship with the highest score in entire competition.

The optional competitions are a great way to get more practice up on the stage before the required events and have no bearing on the girls score for the overall queen's title. The optional competitions are also a great way to take home a little extra cash, and an invitation to the national pageant in Hollywood!

Her speech titled "The Other Side" educates people about the positive, impactful side of pageants. In her speech she talks about her experience with National American Miss and the confidence this program has instilled in her. She highlighted some of the differences between programs like National American Miss and pageants like Toddlers and Tiaras.

The responses to her speech have been great! Most people did not know about the positive side of pageantry and she has been asked to speak in Springfield, Missouri about "The Other Side"
