Katherine McQuade lost her grandmother to pancreatic cancer in 2005. Since then she has looked for ways to give back and bring awareness to this particular cancer. To do this she started weaving potholders for pancreatic cancer awareness. Her local news state featured her as a "Queens Person of the Week" check out the video:
