Former Miss Utah JPT Featured on Magazine Cover

Miah Green, who was your beautiful Miss Utah Jr. Pre-Teen 2014, has been keeping busy since her reign! Miah was featured on the cover of the February issue of The Beauty Battalion, a magazine that provides "a refreshing approach to the industry... Real People. Real Beauty." In addition to the Cover, Miah got a full 12 page spread (aka my dream) that highlights her amazing accomplishments as an actress, model, aerial artist, and most importantly, humanitarian!

Miah was featured as this months "True Beauty Award Winner" and she deserves it for so many reasons! She of course is a beautiful young lady on the outside, but it's what's inside her heart that truly makes her shine! As a National American Miss girl, Miah has embodied what it is to be a positive role model.

"Not only does Miah help those in need, her non-profit organization, Caring Crowns 4 a Cause, has helped numerous girls earn the Presidential Volunteer Service Award by providing service opportunities," the magazine says.

WOW! What an inspiration. We love to see our NAM girls not only giving back to their community, but supporting other girls to do the same! We could not be more proud of Miah!

Miss MO Pre-Teen Serves as Volunteer for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

Miss Missouri Pre-Teen Abbie Mueller joined volunteers in the fight against Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes before heading to the National Pageant in November. She greeted participants in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s Walk To End Type One in St. Louis, Missouri. Abbie met walkers of all ages, especially T1D patients who wore blue bandanas, by welcoming them to the event and encouraging them to stay after the walk for the post-event party.

She also greeted walkers at the finish line with celebration bells and directed them to the party.  Event coordinators advised that the volunteer efforts helped to direct over 20,000 participants to the party, a significant increase from last year’s attendance.  One of Abbie’s friends and walk participant Ashley (who also happens to be a former NAM competitor) is a T1 diabetic who wears a continuous blood glucose monitor, so Abbie has learned much about the daily efforts that go into the management of T1D.  Enjoy these photos of Abbie in action at the event!

Maci Williams, our Miss Wisconsin Jr. Pre-Teen has been finding many ways to volunteering throughout her year. Her platform is helping kids with special needs. She has been setting up all sorts of activities, and in the fall she hosted one of her many events called Beyond Limits Field Days. This time they set up games, relays, and field day activities. All of the kids and volunteers played together and when the kids were done with all the stations they got a prize.  Here are some great pictures of the event and all the fun they had!

Iowa Royalty Volunteers at Ronald McDonald House

Some of our beautiful Iowa Royalty had a blast helping out at the Ronald McDonald house in Des Moines. Miss Iowa Pre-Teen Mya Chup, Miss Iowa Jr. Pre-Teen Charlotte Lange, and Miss Iowa Jr. Pre-Teen Cover Girl Zyrianna Cerna-Koehrsen helped sort approximately 10 garbage bags full of pop tabs, which will later be turned in to earn money for the Ronald McDonald House. These Sister Queens have been doing such an amazing job finding ways to get together and give back to their community, and have LOTS of fun doing it! Way to go!
