NAM National Jr. Teen continues to keep kids warm...
Sarah Summers, the National American Miss Jr. Teen is continuing her charity work with Project Linus in big ways. Sarah, who just donated numerous home-made blankets to the local Ronald McDonald house has taken on keeping the kids and teens warm at the Ted E Bear Hollow Organization, as well.
As I mentioned a few posts ago, through the Linus Project, local community leaders donate material for Sarah to hand-make blankets. She then donates them within her community to local children's organizations.
The Ted E Bear Hollow organization is a WONDERFUL charity located in Omaha, Nebraska
that deals with grieving teens and children who are dealing with the loss of friends or family, helping they and their families understand and adjust, and placing them amongst other kids, teens, and families who are grieving as well in a fun and safe environment. They even offer camps, programs, and events!
If you or someone you know in the midwest area has lost a loved one, you can help them by visiting the Ted E Bear Hollow website and getting involved.
But, for now, our National American Miss Jr. Teen is using her crown to continue to keep kids warm and bring smiles to families faces across the country.
