Miah Green has been one busy little girl after winning the title of Utah Princess Cover Girl! She has not only traveled to the Nevada and Missouri State Pageants as visiting Royalty, but has been heavily involved in the Christmas Box House in Ogden, UT. The Christmas Box House is a 24 hr/7 day a week safe house for abused and neglected children ages 0-17. These children are removed from the home usually with only the clothes on their back due to their dangerous environment. They stay at the home until a suitable & safe alternative home is found or until their home is safe to return to. While there, the children received mental, physical and emotional therapy by loving and caring staffed professionals.
Miah donates three hours a week, sorting donations, cleaning, working in their clothing closet putting outfits together (upon arrival each child receives three new outfits from head to toe), organizing their visiting rooms and even created a Disney library & play room. With the donation of NAM school supplies from the community involvement program and other generous backpack donations she was able to provide fully stocked backpacks for some of the kids. She also has been able to enjoy their company and spend one on one time with them by doing a variety of crafts that her and her mother provide for them on a monthly basis.
