NAM girl needs your help to continue to keep making a difference in the lives of teens
NAM GIRLS NEED YOUR HELP TO CONTINUE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
A few years ago, National American Miss' Maria-Teresa Grinneby noticed that when Prom time came, there were lots of girls her age who were not able to take part in High School's most poplar event because they didn't have the means to purchase a dress. Inspired to do something about it and make a difference, in true NAM girl fashion, Maria founded "The Prom Attire Event."

This popular Pennsylvania event collects new or gently used prom or cocktail gowns for girls from low to moderate income families who would not otherwise be able to attend their proms without some assistance. They have a whole event and "store" set up where these girls come in and "shop" free of charge. Since the event has grown - they now even provide vendors to come in to donate things like tuxes, corsages, dinners, etc to help make the prom experience as special as possible. The event is now in it's fifth year and it's gotten bigger and bigger over time, dressing over 60 girls a year. While this organization primarily serve the Central PA area, they also have sent gowns out to girls in need who contact them.
As this organization continues to grow, so is their need for donations. It's such a little thing but it makes a HUGE difference to these girls and their families.
