NAM girls get fancy with the Annual "Tiara Tea Party"
In 2005, NAM Arizona Jr. Teen Theresa Kyte founded the Teens Caring For A Cause Foundation (TCFAC). Each year, since 2005, NAM girls in Arizona have taken part in this, raising money for the Arizona Chapter of the Make A Wish Foundation.
This year's Tiara Tea Party was as fun-filled and eventful as ever. The day's events included a fashion show,modeling contest, arts and crafts, and games. A real life "Barbie" and the Barbie Mobile were on site for photos, as well. But - the highlight of the day was when, Isabella, a local Arizona wish kid was crowned Miss Tiara Tea Party 2010 by Savanna Troupe, Miss Arizona 2009. What a magical moment for such a special girl!
As past and present NAM queens were in attendance along with local and state queens from various other pageant systems to share in the day's festivities - their mission was all the same! Former National American Miss Arizona & NAM open call regional coordinator, Tristan Topps, continues to stay actively involved in The Tiara Tea Party program, as she currently acts as event host and produces the annual fashion show. Tristan shared some of this year's highlights with us!
