NAM girl heads overseas...mom credits NAM for giving her confidence to take on the world
Rachel Higgins, from the great state of Wisconsin is no stranger to the NAM stage. Having competed in the National American Miss organization for a number of years, Rachel recently had the opportunity of a lifetime.
She was one of 7 students chosen from her middle school to travel to China in an exchange program...without her parents and through this awesome experience, she even made local headlines!!!
Rachel's mom, Marci, shared with me some of these awesome pictures from the trip and let me know that it was National American Miss that gave her daughter the confidence & maturity to do something so bold!
