Tornado hits Joplin, MO - hometown NAM girl provides aid

A devastating tornado sweeped through Joplin, Missouri last night causing massive destruction and deaths. While many of use caught glimpses of this nightmare on the news or internet, our Miss Missouri Princess, Allison Leas, lived it... as Joplin is home for her and her family.

We recently spoke to Alison and her mom, and thankfully the tornado hit one street over from them, they missed it by a hair - but many of their close friends and family weren't so lucky.

However, in true NAM girl fashion, Alison has already taken it upon herself to provide comfort and aid to those in need during this crucial time. Alison has already put together half a dozen garbage bags full of stuffed animals and other children's toys and items and distributed them to family members, friends, and the hospital for the children affected who lost everything in the tornado. NOW THIS IS TRULY MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR COMMUNITY!!!! We are sooo proud of you Allison for being a ROCKIN' NAM GIRL!!
