NAM shapes lifelong friendships...

It is absolutely no secret that the National American Miss organization is a program that truly encourages girls to gain self confidence, learn new life-skills.....and make lots of new friends....and here is no exception.

Recently, I was honored to be a bridesmaid in the NAM wedding of the year. National American Miss choreographer and entertainer, Brooke Pope, wed National American Miss DJ, Nate Hughes. The two met 6 years ago at a National American Miss pageant and a wonderful friendship grew...eventually leading into a special kind of lifelong friendship, marriage.

Their wedding was a true NAM event, as the wedding party alone consisted of NAM staff, state directors, DJ's, and even former contestants and queens....not to mention the NAM-tastic guest list.

Congrats to Brooke & Nate as they embark on their own "Namily"
