Missouri Pre-Teen Donates Blanket to Children's Center
As visiting royalty at the Tennessee/Kentucky pageant over Labor Day
weekend, 2016 Miss Missouri Pre-Teen, Abbie Mueller, decided to make community service truly
a “NAMily” affair! In conjunction with her charity, Abbie’s Helping
Hands, Abbie worked with visiting NAM royalty and pageant contestants to
make a special commemorative blanket for donation to a local children’s crisis
center in the Nashville area.
Over the course of the weekend, Abbie
invited girls of all ages to tie one of the fleece fringes of a blanket
specially picked to reflect the patriotic theme colors of the weekend’s
rehearsals. The finished blanket was then donated at the end of the
weekend to a local foster and children’s crisis center.
Abbie thanks Matt
Leverton and his awesome team for a wonderful weekend of NAMily, fun, and
community service. The photos are of the blanket in process and in its completed
state being donated to the Tennessee Baptist Children’s Center in Franklin, TN! You can see Abbie’s social media posts
