Nevada Jr. Teen Crowns Mr. AVHS

On April 7, 2015 it was the 2nd annual Mr. AVHS pageant for the Arbor View Aggies of Las Vegas hosted by the senior class! Just like an actual pageant these boys worked hard at many rehearsals! The areas of competition included swimsuit, talent, formal wear and on stage question. Some of the boys wore their best swimsuits and floaties. The talent portion was filled with singing, dancing, yoga, painting, and lots more! The last portion of competition was very breathtaking as the boys looked dapper! They were all required to tell their best pick up line and answer a more serious question, like who their role model is or their most embarrassing moment in high school was. They also had an opening dance number choreographed by the schools dance team! Nevada Jr. Teen, Kailyn Domingo was invited by student council to be apart of this event and even crowned her "successor" at the end of the night! It was a night filled with laughter as Kailyn got serenaded by the newly crowned king during his rendition of "The Climb" by Miley Cyrus. She even was amused as one of the boys painted "Q for Mr. AVHS!" The pickup lines were definitely funny as well! From hearing "Do you work at Starbucks because I think I like you a latte!" To "If you were a vegetable you'd be a cutecumber," the best part of it all was hearing some of the boys say their mom was their role model. That was the tear jerker of the night! Kailyn sure did love being apart of an event with her school for the first time, and can't wait to be apart of many more!
