Faith Jordan can not believe its already been a year since she was crowned Miss Missouri Preteen
I can’t believe a year has already gone by. While I will be passing on the Pre-Teen crown and banner, I will be keeping all the friends and memories I have made over the last year. They are priceless and have been the best part of my experience with National American Miss. I would like to say to the contestants, enjoy the journey. Remember all the fun you’ve had over the weekend and keep in touch with new friends.
I also enjoyed going to California for Nationals. Besides Disneyland and having Mickey and the band play for us, there were a lot of fun rehearsals, we had Thanksgiving dinner with some of our Missouri family, and went to the ocean. But the most excitement was being the first of five numbers drawn for a chance to win a Ford Mustang convertible. I didn’t win the car, but it was a lot of fun and I won a $100 gift certificate.
Right after Nationals I was able to donate books and bears to a local Toys for Tots collection.
The rest of my year was spent visiting other state pageants in Illinois, Oklahoma and Iowa. I had a great time helping out, going to the get acquainted parties, meeting the contestants, and spending time with friends.
I want to thank all the Missouri royalty. We were able to spend a lot of time together at the Illinois and Iowa pageants, and our trip to the state capitol was amazing. Abigail, Tiffany, Allison, Serene, Brittney, and Megan; I will miss you.
Thank you to National American Miss, Steve and Kathleen Mays, Ken and Lani Maples and all the staff; and to Breanne, the girl who puts the glam in NAM.
Last, but not least, thank you Mom, Dad and Tim. It’s been a great year!
