Mikala Peterson, Miss MN PT, Donates Books and School Supplies

One of the most important parts of National American Miss is the emphasis we put on community involvement. We think it is so valuable to give back, and that's why we make 10% of each girl's overall score based on a simple donation of a book or school supply! We collect thousands and thousands of books and school supplies across the country. Our new State Queens get to take those items donated and personally delivery them to an organization of their choice. Your Miss Minnesota Pre-Teen, Mikala Peterson, chose to donate some of those books and school supplies to her hometown schools! Mora High School was her first stop. Pictured below is Mikala delivering some items to Principal Brent Nelson. Way to go Mikala!
