Miss Nebraska Princess, Brookelyn's Farewell

I can’t believe just one year ago I entered my first pageant. It was so fun, and I was shocked when they called my name as the new Queen.

I enjoyed taking donated books and school supplies to the Childrens Hospital.  I also volunteered at the Open Door Mission, the Miss Amazing Pageant, and at Lakeside Assisted Living.   My sister Queens and I were in several parades in Nebraska.  Going to other pageants as visiting royalty and making new friends was awesome!

Then it was on to Nationals in sunny California.  Going to Disney Land for the first time was truly magical.  I loved spending time with my new friends from other states.  Even though I didn’t win the national title, I finished twelfth overall.  

This past year has gone by so fast! I want to thank some very special people who helped make this experience possible.           

         

To my sister Queens... We have had such fun times together hanging out and just being silly. You have treated me just like a sister, and I love each one of you!

         

To Michelle... thank you for dressing me in beautiful clothes and teaching me how to speak in front of people and how to walk pretty!

         

Thank you to Breanne and Ryan.   You are the best state directors! You always make me laugh and you are both so sweet. I am proud to be part of the Namily.

         

Thank you to Aunt Lizzy... the best hair stylist ever!  

         

Thank you  to my grandparents and all my aunts, uncles, and cousins.  All your love and support means so much.

         

Daddy... thank you for being the best escort a girl could have.  Actually, you are the best pageant dad!  Thank you for always loving me, encouraging me, and helping me practice.  You have the best pretty feet!!

         

Mom... thank you for supporting me in all I do and for all the hours you spend getting everything ready, keeping us all organized, and driving me to all my activities.   I wouldn’t be here today without you.  I love you so much!

To the next Queen... Congratulations!   Enjoy this year, have fun, and cherish each moment!
